Damn eyes, how I struggle with you!
Since the Nerf This Book is finally coming out in a month, I’ve always wondered how a Scout book would do, if I did, it would be the 1st 100 pages, but I’m dreading thinking if it would sell.

Trying to improve the art in a few ways. Hoping everything turns out all right, and sorry about the late update, I’m getting ready to move, so time has been pretty tight on all fronts.
One thing I try to do in Scout is give you the best page I can possibly do, and try to push myself art wise further than the last. There are things I need to improve on, like certain character angles, overhead shots, and many other things. I also want to improve the amount of time for updates, too. I’ve even considered black and white strips. Sometimes I feel that would be counter productive to creating something worthy that you all can enjoy. You all deserve that.
God, I love Ruggles, and his sass.
I’ve also been thinking since I do ink in these pages from time to time… would people actually be interested in buying an original art page? What would I charge? … 20 bucks?
Happy to get back to Scout, you have no idea how much I love sketching out these pages, and when I start streaming I’d bite a hole in my tongue to not say anything that’s coming up. Plus I’m looking forward to drawing some city backgrounds, TERRIBLE CITY BACKGROUNDS.
Sorry guys, it’s been a while since I last posted here, but I’m finally pleased I can get back to it.
I’m nearly erect with happiness that I can post this tonight! I’m also sorry because I’m rusty as hell at drawing these guys and doing the shading styles, so bare with me while I tighten my “remembering noose“.
Anyways, updates will be resuming here. I forgot how much fun it was doing these full page posts.
I want to thank everyone for the feedback from the last post, I didn’t realize how many people loved this comic, and I promise to put the best of what I can do in every post. Trying some new shading/lighting techniques, hopefully some steps towards a stronger inking style. Now, on to get ready for the next post!
Trying some new things with style changes, heavier inks for starters, hoping it’s turning out well enough. Also, a few more pages of Finn doing “Finn Things” and then we’re back to good ole’ Scout.
PS: Thank you all for reading 😀
