Nerf This
What would you take into a battle to the death? You might go for the sword, or the spear, I, however, would opt for the jar filled with spiders, tied to a rope. Because f**k spiders.
Internet should be restored later today (hopefully), if not, I’ll have to call them, I imagine our conversation would look like this.
I am proud to post this outside of a closed place (in the rain at 2am) using their wireless… I feel like such a vagrant! But luckily, I should have internet at my place tomorrow at some point in the day, so I should be active again 🙂
Oh, Scout updated too!
Remember this from seven months ago? Yeah, that’s still happening apparently.
So this is my last day without internet, tomorrow I will be able to see the world (digitally) again! Thank you for bearing with me all last week. Oh! And tomorrow marks the end of this little chapter, and I think you’ll like the next story I have lined up 😉
A love lost is pretty lost I’d say. Right now I’m winding up the the new story, can’t wait.
Oh! If you haven’t seen it yet, I redid the cast page on Scout Crossing‘s site 🙂
Okay, so this is the last post of the chapter, promise! I just really wanted to draw how Mr. Mill’s subconscious views Chase 😉
Now on to other things!
You remember Aiden, don’t you? (She might change a little more in the next few posts, this is the 1st time I’ve drawn her in a year!)
Scout Crossing will be up later this week, I have both Motokool and Scout sketched out, just a matter of getting all the fun stuff done 🙂
Please forgive me for this filler, I got fairly stacked on projects today, but the sliver of good news is that, tomorrow, a pre-order for “Kills Things With Bare Hands” shirt will go up in the store 🙂
Alright, I need your opinions on this…
A reader brought up the point of the fillers being slightly obtrusive, at least splashed around in with the main storyline. Obviously, the fillers I make are more or less a fail safe for when I get bogged down with freelance, emergencies, etc. Now, I wish that I could avoid fillers, but at the very least I want to post something, I owe you guys that (and more truthfully). I cannot move the fillers to another page on the site, because of the way comicpress is, and my strip format, they would be horridly squished, to the point of being unreadable. Now, this is what I can do about it after talking with a few others.
-I can leave it the way it is.
-Delete them a day or two after they’re made, so everyone will see the filler, but it won’t interrupt anything.
-Post a filler, but also mirror the post on another site altogether, then delete the post after a day or two on Nerf This.
These are the options I “think” I’d like to present. I seriously want Nerf This to be an enjoyable experience for everyone, you guys are the ones who make these posts happen 5 days a week, and I wish I could do more than that. Some day I truly hope I can, so thanks 🙂
Also, doing mockups of the shirt, so that will in the store tonight, tomorrow morning 🙂
Thanks for everyone’s thoughts today, I really appreciate it. The fillers will stay! Maybe down the road I’ll find a place for them, but for now, they’ll be happily where they are. So again, thank you for everyone’s thoughts!
I wonder if two minutes would be enough time in speed dating… or if it would be too much time given the circumstances.
