Enter The Stragglers!
Remember this from seven months ago? Yeah, that’s still happening apparently.
So this is my last day without internet, tomorrow I will be able to see the world (digitally) again! Thank you for bearing with me all last week. Oh! And tomorrow marks the end of this little chapter, and I think you’ll like the next story I have lined up 😉
omggg thet’er so adorable in the first fram <3 <3 <3
Er… they’re* and frame*
having a cat laying across your hands begging for love is not conducive to typing, apparently.
Cats operate best making one feel guilt for ignoring them… horrible guilt 😉
That strip was seven months ago. Wow your art has changed so much. One can only imagine how awesome it will look in another seven months. Do you draw with unicorns? I have to say this is the best drawn webcomic I read or have even seen.
Wow, thanks Bubo, that means a lot to hear, I can only hope I get better (I still have a terribly long way to go yet) 😉
At this rate, your art is going to be so good within the next 2 years, there will be a new museum built every time you start a new chapter.
If only Rufus was here: He would make that little heart so drippy and glorious.
I’m really curious how Chase will get Monty back.
that made me lol enough to wake my parents up
It’s so silly to see a man of that size hide in a bush. but still awesome.
Actually the bush was hiding him, he just decided he wanted to hide, and it was to scared to argue.
OMG his like CHUCK NORRIS!
He is Chuck Norris.
Heartwarming comic on a chilly morning in the land of Kentucky. Well done, sir!
Excellent! I was wondering whether or not Mr. Mills would actually let them go without coming along, but I never suspected that Zoey would be following them too. You sir, never cease to amaze and amuse me with your talents both for drawing and humor. You’ve brightened a cold lonely morning in the frigid region of Wisconsin as well…
Zoey, you make the best stalking buddy ever.
Or, at least, I’m going to assume you will make the best stalking buddy ever.
Because I can.
Awwww, this comic never fails to supply me with my daily dose of cute-ness! Aaaand, Mr. Mills in a bush is just about the most ridiculous looking thing I’ve seen.
You Scot! Ive been reading for like a year. And so far this is the only webcomic i remember to read daily. Its awesome! This is my first comment ever and i just had to do it now…mainly because im in class atm. But i wanted to tell you that Zoey is my favorite character, other than chase, and i was wondering if she will ever find someone to take her min0d off of chase?
Darn my typos.
SCOTT! We missed you. 🙂
Had it not been for that twig, Zoey would have out-stalked Mr. Mills.
I think he is underestimating the sneakiness, sir.
Ok this is officially my favorite webcomic.
I detect whacky shenanigans afoot!
Hiya.
I recently re-discovered this comic. I didn’t recognize it at first, your style has changed so much since I was last here.
I spent most of my down time today reading through the archives and laughing my butt off. Now I remember why I loved this comic so much, it’s consistently funny. Almost every page had me cracking up at least a little. Anyone can write a dick joke, few can write a dick joke with moxie!
Just wanted to stroke your ego a little. This is definitely a comic I’ll follow closely from now on.
Also, get Zoey a man. She needs one… badly. Maybe a blonde who’s into bondage. And vaginal torture, because you know… there’s that.
Everyone looks so good! As I said in Scout-Crossing, there’s something that I can’t see, but know is there. It’s making everything look really good.
This is a good end to great chapter. 😀
Also your artwork has really improved since 7 months ago. ^_^
Gotta agree…
I’ve read bunches of webcomics where the art in the ad that takes me to it is awesome, but it’s been going for a few years and the art in the strips for the first chunk of the archives… well… let’s just say that I wouldn’t buy it if it were a print comic. No offense to the creators, though… everyone’s gotta learn somehow, and it certainly takes courage to put your learning process up on the web for everyone to see and critique, some exponentially more harshly than others. I’d certainly be apprehensive about putting my own forays into the world of illustration up online.
With this Nerf This, though, even the first strips, I just figured it was Scott’s style and he wanted the strip to be more cartoon-y than realistic. I certainly see plenty of artists that do pretty simplified day to day stuff then have crazy detailed and professional pinups and whatnot (take O from Commissioned, for example). Nowadays, though… Scott’s stuff is among the best comics online, IMHO.
…All I can think when I look at this is “Why are everyone’s forearms invisible?”
Forearms? WE’LL BE HAVING NONE OF THAT CRAZY TALK HERE, MY GOOD SIR. Forearms are a lie perpetrated by the Communists. My old Uncle McCarthy told me so
Mr. Awesome McMustache is just like me! We both tend to monologue to ourselves when we think we’re alone!
… In the bushes… Stalking people…
I like the sun! Very good job with the effect!
Garen? Is that you?
what happened with the koalas?
Probably dealing with TheCardigan.
