Like a phoenix!
Nerf This
Even to this day I sometimes say “toots”, “dame”, and “broad” even to the closest of friends, I may have called my dog “toots” this morning. I also may not have… I was high on poptarts.
Thought we’d check in with how Chase’s head is holding up (I know you guys are anxious for Nergil, but next week will have a bit going on in the carnival end of things) 😉
A very small change happened on the site last week, and I want to give a heads up for a way to help me (and help other’s see the Nerf This). In this section you’ll see a little Facebook, Stumble, and Google + buttons. If you might feel inclined to share, I’ll be forever grateful 🙂
Also, I know I’ve said this a lot, but I can’t thank you all enough for the help with the book, I’m truly blown away.
Have any of you gone to a doctor and get complimented on your veins by nurses? I have, and while I say “thank you” my brain is making this face.
Again, thank you everyone for taking advantage of the buttons in the post and sharing the comic with your friends! It means gallons to me. GALLONS.
I hope this joke is slightly coherent, it’s 5:30am and I’m a bit zombie-ish right now (not in the “eat you” way, more like the “clumsy/tired walk into things” kind).
Anyways, tomorrow is the reveal!
Welp, here he is, and while this look isn’t solid, hopefully it’s a step in the right direction for how I want him to look (still undecided about eye patch and mustache 😉 Now it’s time for the ____! (for those who haven’t seen this video, you might like it).
FRIDAY’S STRIP WILL BE UP DURING THE DAY HOURS… sorry for the inconvenience.
Thought we’d get these guys straightened out. Chase’s emotions are self healing after all.
Again, while the pre-order is coming to a close, I can’t thank everyone enough. I can’t believe in two weeks, Nerf This will have it’s very first book being published. Again, I can’t thank you all enough (you’re awesome)!
At least it went better than last time.
I myself usually won’t yell “brick”… I’m a little more subtle. I usually scream “cockatrice” (throws em’ off).
Scout Crossing will be updating this week, most likely by Wednesday.
Well… it’s about time Tony showed up, must have been hiding in the back somewhere.
Granted, I can relate with Chase… should have seen me seconds after I was swimming at night. After I deemed I swam enough, I relax, and see this on my shoulder. I half expected it to ask what my favorite color, or band was.
I would have high 5’d it if it looked like this instead.
