Spittin' Image
I am terrible in heat, and summer is my enemy, if I had to place emotions with pictures, this might be an example.
If you are wondering about this story, these are snippets of Monty’s past before meeting Chase, there are others too, from the 1920’s and the 1940’s.
Omg that made me laugh so much. DAMMIT HOWARD!
haha, Damn Howard and his lavish lifestyle!
Howard looks bitterly dispositioned. He’s going to be a shitty dad, isn’t he?
I’d say he’s just adapting to a situation he wasn’t prepared for (which is a fancy way of agreeing with you) 🙂
Haha, well, maybe he’ll be one of those sneakily good bad characters? I’m not asking you, there’s just a curious tone in my mental voice. I want to be surprised. =D
I think you might (hopefully) be surprised, this flashback is fairly essential to the storyline 🙂
Ooh! I’m excited! =D
is the ducks last name Quackington?
actually, yes, his last name is Quackington 😉
Well considering Monty is now with Chase I’m guessing he was a shitty dad… DAMN HOWARD!!
If you want Scott you can swap locations with me… It’s winter over here in Sydney and I hate it!!
I would LOVE to see Austrailia, especially Sydney… I’ll be closer to koalas 😉
I dunno where you live Scott, but I couldn’t even sleep last night it was so hot here.
I shouldn’t complain too much, I live in Pennsylvania, which is much cooler than the southern states… I’d die if I was in Florida or Texas.
lucky you don’t live in Louisiana… heat index hits around 110, and the humidity makes you feel like you’re drowning…
I would despise living in that heat, I would basically whine about it too… pretending it was this hot.
I live fairly close to you, Scott, so I feel your pain. Just outside of Harrisburg. (Hour? Hour and a half?) But I can’t imagine it being hotter. I mean I complain when it’s 95.
I am about an hour and 15 minutes from Harrisburg, I believe that’s a decent estimate from Kutztown, and I agree with you, haha, I’m a baby in 90 degree heat!
Oh gosh… this comic made me forget about the heat and my asthma for a minute, for that you get 10000000 awesome points and an internet hug (>^,)><(.^<)
Haha, I’m happy and ecstatic I was able to gain awesome points, and sorry you have to deal with heat and asthma, that would be completely unpleasant.
I don’t know if I find it funny or ironic that the name “howard” and a duck are in the same panel. Maybe its just me and my rather useless back log of information in this thing we so formally call a brain.
I wouldn’t say that is useless information at all, random facts like that can make you the leader in any conversation!
Recreational drug use? In opposition to professional drug use?
If he were to use drugs professionally, he could wear the proper safety gear (shoulder pads… helmet)?
LOL “Of.. um.. what?” Fantastic dialog. As always, I dig the further development into the story. Always excited to see how deep the rabbit hole goes. 😀
Thanks Stray! I’m happy you like where things are going, this story is going to be a lot of fun for me.
Hahaha I’ve never seen a snake look so void of emotion and depressed.
and with a hint of frustration 😉
Damn, I knew I should have had you fixed sooner. Now I’ll have to listen to you caterwauling in the backyard, trying to pick up some sweet ass. (In case you don’t get it because my humor is lame sometimes…I was making a joke to ‘in heat’ heh. Lame, I know, lol)
And I love it!! It’s really nice to see Monty’s past. Plus, ROFL…’Dammit Howard’
For the record, I love the classy flash-backs. I cannot wait to see where you go with them.
During the summer in Alaska the sun never goes down, and thus most of us just don’t sleep…so I spent my night reading through this series 😀
(which is phenomenal, by the way)
Oh wow, I heard that the sun didn’t go down, but I assumed that it didn’t last a whole summer, I would have a sleep disorder for sure. I’m happy this seasonal insomnia you have during the summer months makes you frequent my comic, and thank you for the kind words 🙂 (not really happy that you might not sleep well, but happy about the reading part) 😉
That first photo of the melting dude is fascinating.
When I saw that, I couldn’t help but think, “that must not be very fun”.
For a split second, I actually got a little scared. The sun is brutal here in SoCal. But then I just laughed.
Hopefully it’s not like volcano heat, I would be frazzled it it was 🙂
