Ah, Friday is upon us, and apparently Taryn may have solved this mystery already! I’ve gotten a lot of really good ideas from readers and friends alike about Nerf This, and I may update to a mini on weekends with Monty exclusively, I want to do a lot with him, love drawing the little abomination. Monday the drama starts 😉

I do have a minor favor of people who feel inclined to do so, but this mysterious favor isn’t quite so mysterious, its simply if you feel generous, or noble, or even slightly super sleuth-ish, please Stumble from the button above. Also in two or 3 weeks there will be some Monty plush dolls for sale, which I’m really looking forward to 🙂
So… let me tell you that I didn’t like Taryn’s eyes the way they were (green with pupils)… something about it threw me off a bit, BUT I decided to add a bit of blush to her cheeks, subtle things really. I also find myself a sucker for explanation through pictures, nothing makes more sense to me than scribbling a point I’m trying to make on some horrid scratch paper. Also I will be planning a mini for next week, a Monty exclusive 🙂
For those who feel that Wren may be getting off easy, she won’t. If you take a look over at the new readers page I’ve gone to the trouble of drawing a self portrait, and I didn’t want to do the “oh, there I am with my art supplies drawing” type of image, no sir, I decided to something a little different, Now I need to make that picture a reality 😉
So apparently Steph has a much more assertive approach to dealing with man stealing hussies, its proven to be… effective. If you notice the thumbnail on the left, yes they are character concepts, I can’t give too much away but I will let everyone know very soon what’s going on with this little project of mine. Also this gave me a chance to finally have fun with line work on a Wacom 🙂
Here is an example of what the Monty minis may include, Friday will wrap up the Wren saga, and then on to more malarkey 🙂
So the Wren saga will end for now, she’s down, but not out. I have a confession to make though, I did in reality own underoos like these, they were Spiderman ones as well, and once I decided to venture the idea of wearing them for Halloween one time. I also learned that this was a horrible idea in the chilly fall weather. A new arc will start next week, and promises to be rather… deceptive 😉
Here is the start of a new arc, and in other news, I will be starting another comic next next Monday, so look forward to that. It will be very much unlike Nerf This, and will follow a graphic novel format. I have the fabric approved for the stuffed Monty monsters, this weekend… production 😀 See you all on Wednesday.
So this makes me wonder, I’m sure this has happened on some occasions to most of you as well… have you ever had a clothing style you found embarrassing to this day? I didn’t quite have the clothes Tony did but I had my share of some horrid styles, even looking back I can say that there were some dark days for me, extremely dark days indeed. (it was a miracle people still talk to me) 😉 Also, go see Boondock Saints 2, gloriously awesome movie.
Oh wowzers, I have attempted the unthinkable… backgrounds, well, not elaborate… but baby steps nonetheless 😉 I made a facebook fan page too, so become a fan while I set up the links on the site 🙂 Due to circumstances, my new webcomic will launch Monday, and Nerf-This will update more frequently. I also feel a little bit naughty, never have I drawn my characters to look so… scantily clad.
