I have some good news, for those of you that read my other comic, you may have noticed that I don’t ink in my strps by hand anymore, it’s all digitally drawn. What does this mean, you might ask? It means that pages are going to look MUCH nicer, and this makes me have a somewhat nerdish excited-ness 🙂

you good sir, need to stop making such good/addicting/omigodthisissogreaticantstopreadingit! comics. or at the very least, leaving me to speculate what is gonna happen next. now i have 2 days off work i and im gonna do nothin but sit, and pray and hope that there might be an awesome update that explains those feathers poppin outta scouts collar.

It occurs to me that both scout and penny share the same epic tattoo. I bet it has something to do with that cause they fought for back before big brother died.
well yes, i know that much, but i wanna know whats gonna happen with them. when Penny broke Laylor there were feathers floating around her (at the time i thought it was just a gimicky effect), so now i wanna see how scout will respond, and how those feather tattoo’s will respond as well. all i know is it can only be epic.
Ah, I’m gonna watch for that. If you called that correctly then kudos to you. You’ve clearly gotten far too good at this.
Well what I find strange about the tattoo is that it seems to grow based on their emotions…if you look in the picture in the link, as the panels change and Scout realizes who is in his room, the tattoo of the feathers grow. Especially since the tattoo never reached his neck before
I am just horrible with visual details so I never noticed any of that. Evidently there is much to support that the feathers are more than just a cool visual aesthetic.
Haha, much of this will be explained after this chapter, so I assure you there is some wonky reasoning behind it 🙂

Crazyy.. I finally caught up! You really gonna kill Penny? WTF!?!
Yay! Scout found his motivation! Faced with the potential death of someone he cares about he found himself capable of pushing aside his past in favor of the present momentarily. That whole mourn those that are dead once the living are taken care of thing.
I am just fascinated by scout’s character. He’s engaging and believable, and once in a while he gets that look in his eye reminding us he’s secretly badass. Everything you touch is gold scott.

What I want to know is why he would stick up to Laynor for Liz, but not to the 6 for Penny! He still likes her! He still thinks about her! He just doesn’t think he deserves her. Seriously Scout, seriously? Also, Scott….you’re too damn good. What with your character development and badass stories. Also, you make a damn’d pretty picture.
How come the feathers on his neck in the last frame are on the right side of his body? They are on his left side the rest of the comic series.
