Well then. That’s kind of bittersweet. On one hand your fiance gets to live or the other hand you’re mum just died(doubt its that simple though). I hope Nergil doesn’t get in too much trouble for this, I mean they did kind of ask for this. Also it occurs to me that Nergil has now seriously injured/killed both of Taryn’s parents.
she’s probably the physical manifestation of destiny, which would explain why she was able to nearly kill mr mills, (i mean come on could a normal human woman defeat the guy who killed fifty bears with his bare hands) and why he didn’t think he could get her pregnant. in other words she’s a match for nergil and will probably be alive in the next strip. or my other theory, nergil killed her and this ended WAAAAAAYYYYYY TOO SOON!!!!!!!!
Th-that.. That poor dog. I’m not sure I can accept this.
Jokes aside, we all know that this isn’t over. Destiny (y’know, the actual idealization, not the woman) cannot be defeated; only denied.
On another note, I enjoy Nergil has a character. He is delightfully evil – if you can classify him as such.
Yes that’s true… and yet, I feel as though she sees more than any of us could ever manage… Or something because her eyes only open when she wants to make a point or something.
*GAAASSSSSP* Wha-how–what is they’re the SAME PERSON just at different timelines? We already know that Nerf This and Motokool are connected. *brain explodes*
Well, if the guy from Motoskool is the son of Chase and Taryn (seeing as he is taught to fight by his grandfather who looks like Mr. Mill), Then I say Fin from Scout crossing is the son of Nergil and Zoey (I can dream!).
Oh please, Taryn.
I suppose it must be a long while since you’ve last seen your mother to assume a simple puppy-covered grenade could take Destiny out.
And you better not let that cockiness get you off your guard, Nergil. Before you receive a surprise sword to the back of yer neck..
Except for, I don’t know, planetary destruction.
I mean, the absence of a planet would definitely defeat Destiny; even in the form of its idealization. Destiny is driven by humanity’s power to hope and strive for more. Annihilate the sentience, and destiny disappears as well.
Or, maybe I’m just not any fun, and I’m being overly critical again. I’ll let you be on your way. Hahaha.
unless that destruction WAS their destiny π then maybe she has to take a vacation till new sentient life forms, or find it somewhere else. hehe π
I think you got that wrong, Taryn. She does live in spite of disagreeing with your dad, you know. She surely lives through a grenade filled puppy, wouldn’t really surprise me if she somehow saved the puppy as well…
That escalated quickly.
Did it though?
yes. yes it did.
Can Destiny really ever die?
Gah, that’s probably the best you’ve ever drawn Taryn’s hair. Or at least I like it the most, for sure.

Not sure if im experiencing “feels” or just shock.
Nah, if it were that easy Chase wouldn’t have lived this long.
We all know she’s not dead.
I did not expect this development…
Love Taryn’s hair in this strip though π
somehow I doubt it would be that easy. She probably jumped at the last second or something like that.
::in a cute little duck voice:: This, is, sewious!
I’d feel worse if I weren’t certain she somehow lived through that.
This is what happens when you think a fight to death is just a game lol. Your mom gets blown up by a puppy grenade.

Nergil reminds me of that Warlock from LFG. I really like him as a character.
Somehow I doubt that. You had your eyes closed dear. And your mother is… scary.
To be fair, her mother had her eyes closed too.
Yes that’s true… and yet, I feel as though she sees more than any of us could ever manage… Or something because her eyes only open when she wants to make a point or something.

Is there still a way to get the nerf-this book?
What would be the point of the buildup with the two monsters if she were dead?
Nahhh it’s never that easy. If she can take on Mr. Mills, there’s no way a grenade filled puppy is gonna do it.
Should I feel bad that I just now noticed that Nergil and Finn from Scout Crossing are wearing the same thing?
and that his hair is very similarly styled
the two badasses of each comic dress the same> great minds think alike.

Everyone should have a friend like Nergil
Dead? Pfft. Death is afraid of her. She’ll just pop back up and regrow whatever got blown off.
Oh please, Taryn.

NOTHING can stop Destiny!
Except for, I don’t know, planetary destruction.

Destiny is secretly a space conquistador.
Which puts her in competition with me.
Psh, I’ll be Destiny’s end.
*laughs maniacally*
As a pregnant lady myself currently hospitalized this made me smile. The k you Scott I need smiles right now.
Meant thank you. Typing with no glasses is difficult with swollen fingers.
Chuck Norris wishes he had a mom as tough as Destiny. She’s wearing his beard around her neck, after all.
What if….Destiny did just die, and it now passes down to Taryn to take up that mantle?
In that case, “Wait, can Taryn do modes?!”
I think you got that wrong, Taryn. She does live in spite of disagreeing with your dad, you know. She surely lives through a grenade filled puppy, wouldn’t really surprise me if she somehow saved the puppy as well…
Nergil is About to have a Very Bad Time.
Just great, how am I suppose to brush my teeth if you make me laugh like that. Now everything is full of toothpaste. -.-
