Perhaps now that Taryn has told Chase of her affections, Mr. Mills has felt through his Power of Mustache that the continuation of his line is in jeopardy. As such, he shall take Chase’s request to train him to fight a bit more seriously, so that he shall one day be worthy to not only to carry on his legacy, but more importantly to be worthy of protecting his daughter.
i love adding blush to the girls, sor some reason, artistically I thin kit adds to it. This might not be true, since I would think adding lasers would be a good idea too 😉
idk about lasers in real life…that’d make things complicated if i didn’t want to burn everyone. but lasers certainly can add to something artistically!
do it.
He doesn’t get butterflies in his stomach, no hes to manly for that. Instead, he gets short heart attacks that hes strong enough to survive.
Taryn’s dad is just awesome. <3
I like every character in this comic… But Chase. I mean, he’s funny, don’t get me wrong, but he comes off, to me, as a flat character who exists only to serve a comedic purpose. (Though, young Chase was just plain hilarious.) I’m with Taryn’s pa here, HRK!
Though, seeing as how long they’ve been together, Chase shouldn’t be surprised at the ‘love’ word popping up.
Also, speaking of Taryn’s father, is he still going to train Chase?
I don’t think he’s flat. Just weird. Not quite on the same wavelength as anybody else. Possibly somewhat immature, but that’s the way he’s supposed to be so far.
Congrats on the great review Scott! 🙂 You’ve earned it. Can’t wait to see where you go from here.
*I thought I was the only person to use the word squirrelly like that. lol
Nah, squirrelly is one of my favorite words! Right up there with trunkmonkey. Though one doesn’t find the opportunity to use trunkmonkey very often in daily conversation.
I love this comic, I’ve been reading for maybe 2 weeks now, and when I first found it I literally caught up in a 2 days. I just could not stop reading, and laughing obviously. I find myself still going back to read old strips, and constantly poking over at Scout Crossing just to see if by some chance you’ve decided to update without telling anybody 🙂
congrats on the review ^^ i mean you deserve it. Nerf This is (for lack of better words. seriously i sat here, for 2 minutes, trying to think of a better word) AWESOME 😀
on the comic: is it odd that Taryn’s dad strikes fear and admiration into my heart? 0.o
This strip makes me wonder the question again of WHERE DID SKUZZY GO?! SKUUUUUUUUZZZZZZZYYYYYYYY! Where did Monty’s fellow SKEE companion run off to? Did monty eat him?! Skuzzy!!!

wooo 1st comment! Also, his daddy senses must be tingling.
“I don’t know what happened, but I’ll just bet that Chase had something to do with it!”
Unfortunately, his daddy senses feel like spikes are being nailed through him 😉
ah. so perhaps ‘tingling’ wasn’t the most appropriate word then…
perhaps his daddy senses must be stinging…or maybe piercing 🙂
Lugie noise?
induced vomit noise
Run, Taryn. Run away before you’re so consumed by your delusions that you begin to think love isn’t a mental disorder.
I mean…*cough* erm…Look, a pizzly bear!
Not even a cheetah could run fast enough… well, unless it was a robot cheetah.
Congratulations! http://images.cheezburger.com/completestore/2009/9/7/128968306668917964.jpg
gotta be careful of that blue one, he’s a little too close that that tiny one,..
If she gets pregnant with chases child
would Tyran’s father have a stroke, or heart attack
he’d probably turn inside out.

very well written, right now Mr. Mills has not the slightest idea what’s happening except that the world might explode at any moment.
Hopefully such an explosion wouldn’t result in the release of any kinds of monsters. Such mocking would probably upset him. 🙂
oooooo… nice 😉
I’ve been wondering something, what ever happened to snarky? The one eyed Monty. Did Taryn leave him/her at a 100 page comic day care?
Snarky is still around, he’s just not forefront right now, but he’ll be back in due time.
What about Mr. Wiggles the “municorn”? 😛
I think this is the most vulnerable we have ever seen Taryn’s dad! There is a disturbance in the force!
One of the few times he’s ever shown pain… a pain called fatherhood D:
awww taryn blush!

lasers are fun…:D

seems to me like you are in dire need of more LAZARZ!!!

Taryn’s dad is just awesome. <3
Seconded. Like a ginger Big Boss.
his butterflies are stag beetles with chainsaws taped to their backs.
Blugh! So sweet! <3
Sweet stilll burns me D:

Hmmm… if he’s flat, I better thicken him up in the upcoming strips. He will emotionally grow quite a bit in this story.
I don’t think he’s flat. Just weird. Not quite on the same wavelength as anybody else. Possibly somewhat immature, but that’s the way he’s supposed to be so far.
Awww…and poor Taryn’s dad.
Take it easy, Tony, I know he’s been annoying you for the past, what, 15 years?…but he loooooves you!
Also. Eeeeew…back hair.
Congrats on the great review Scott! 🙂 You’ve earned it. Can’t wait to see where you go from here.

Well then it would seem that I’ve found some kindreds. 🙂
