EDIT: Sorry about this post being a MESS, I was pressed for time and didn’t proof the comic, so if you viewed this from 12:00 to 2:15, you got to see a wonky word bubble that was “mispointing” and had a word mix up, which was horribly sloppy of me. Again, I really do apologize for this, and wanted to let everyone know the edits have been made.

Love it as always! But, umm, where is that speech bubble going in panel 4? Is Taryn speaking? Taryn’s dad? or is Chase talking to himself?

yeah, I had to head out before posting time so in a rush I scheduled the comic to post early (and ran around like an idiot to make the edits when I got back 🙁

I think Chase is possibly having hallucinations. the dapperness is what he sees, and the normalness is what is real. I wish that would happen to me, maybe.

ok i reread this series twice in case i missed something and i still think i missed something. and this be why.
firstly: as stated in earlier Comics Chase is TERRIFIED of having a pregnant girlfriend. to the point of traumatizing encounter with a psycho bitch who believed . she was pregnant every two days.
secondly: i know chase cares very very very deeply for Taryn, which is where this starts to get confusing for me. cuz as depicted in the above panel Chase talks about having children which in my above statement should be making him convulse in trauma induced seizures or something along those lines. however….. INSTEAD he’s placed through a wall, i’m deeply confused from these. and it’d help if someone helped my brain that is currently running on coco puffs and anti-freeze comprehend these confusing thoughts x.x”

I believe it was just Chase taunting her dad into fighting him harder or to make a mistake (which why the old chap would need taunted is beyond me). But I think Chase was really trying to mess with the old chaps mind… and therefore was shoved through a wall.
I think we also have to keep in mind that these are Chase’s dreams/fantasies of himself in the future, and in these dreams he is much stronger and far more confident. He says he was joking around with Taryn’s dad – the pregnancy joke was just trash talk during their fight. What better blow to deliver to your opponent than to inform him that you slept with and impregnated his daughter!
…I’m annoyed how many people pointed out your flaws and failed to read the comments before them already giving you a heads up about them.

Will there be more comics in Chase’s Dream/Imagination after he goes off the hospital medication? I hope so, Because I’m loving the Style and Storyline. 😀
