I think I pulled this joke off when I asked someone why they liked something, they said they went through a “phase”. It’s been over 5 years now and I still want to know what kind of f*%cking phase they were talking about. (maybe I made this face thinking about it, minus the tongue of course).

I agree with people here! I mean, if Taryn is ANYTHING like her dad, she’ll be pretty heroic. “Adventurer’s daughter.” One thing still bothers me, though… Nergil, the fiend, kidnapped Monty at the wedding. What’s to stop him now?

I know he’s tiny and in the background of the first panel, but I swear Tony has a very dapper mustache.
I think that’s the effect of seeing 1) his open mouth and 2) his popped collar. Next to each other they look like a mustache.
I have to agree with you on that, Scott. People use “I went through a phase” in place of (possibly) “It was some dorky/nerdy/geeky thing I did, and I’m embarrassed to admit to them”.
But yeah, having Taryn bring the smackdown on Nergil is a class act. Nergil is a tough nut to crack… you might have to bring out the heavy artillery (*cough*Mr Mills*cough*)
I am thinking that with all the people watching that old Nergil might just break his curse…. This is an awesome carnival….

First panel definitely has an epic moment look to it. It is very impressively done. Might have to claim Taryn and Monty as an avatar image from there.
I am wondering about Tony’s mustache; was that meant to be? Part of me wants to say it’s a smoke tendril, but the coloring on it is too flat to be sure.
Overall though, this just keeps getting better and bette! Keep up the great work sir!

Not sure what kind of phase hes talking about 😛 I’m guessing masochism and peircings….. he must’ve been great at parties. Though that could be totally left feild and far to simplistic. I can’t get enough of these…..my precious *huddles in the corner with mouse in hand*

Well, Chase is kind of the main character. And Monty is Chase’s friend/pet/monster. Taryn tends to stay out of trouble, and so Snarky doesn’t get dragged into it. I bet she also left Snarky at home to keep him?/her?/it? safe while they rescued Monty.
Also, Scott might have forgotten about Snarky 😉
I gotta give you props for the second panel Scott: I had no idea as to the scale of super-nergil: its pretty damn clear now that he’s big.
