Thanks Sojourner! I really love pushing myself artistically with Motokool, especially with effects, I really hope that I can only get better from here on 🙂
Thank you! I’m not a huge fan of my art yet, there are some angles I feel uncomfortable drawing yet, I hope I can only get better if I keep pushing myself 🙂
Give yourself more credit. You’re art is great! And your concepts as well as your story lines are interesting. You can take it from me, I’m incredibly picky.
I based him off of my grandfather, who even in his 80’s, is one of the toughest scotsman I know, I think last year he picked up a washing machine my himself haha
Thanks Blackberry, I’m really pleased you like everything so far, I hope artistically things get better around here too, the next few updates are going to be really fun (and challenging!) 🙂
It really means a lot to hear that, thanks bitolala! Honestly, if someone can take the time to read Motokool, I’m really lucky to even have that, and I’m happy I can write back to everyone.
Luckily a meager pointy sword is no match for grand-dad’s tree/clubs 😉
Oh my, the violence, it’s enough to make a zebra brake out in hives! But aside from zebras It looks like Templeton is going to cut Granda rather painfully on the shoulder…
You’ve never seen boil covered lions then my friend, it makes you wish you were never thought of..I want Templeton to win..his optimistic villainy is so addicting.. Woo go sneaky sword!
Does anyone else find it ironic that grandda is essentially trying to kill Templeton the same way he did the first time, just in a way that’s a tad less refined?
Wow…Granda has tree attachments for his hands. O_O By the splintering paper on Templeton’s face I’m assuming he’s losing?
I’m not sure if losing is the correct term… maybe getting “viciously tree trunked” might be better 😉
lol Dude.. you just got trunked. >.<
OH MY GOD YES TREEFIST IS THE BEST FIST
I WANNA TREE FIST!
Why Scott, I had no idea you were into such vulgarity.
hahaha! told.
It was unlike me, I may have made my coffee a bit too strong (I think it was called Veteran’s Blend, it had a picture of an army boot on it) 😉
Love the way he looks in panel 3. :]
Holy crap, he hit Templeton so hard that it caused the note to emote TWO eyes… 0_0
Haha, I’ll try to sneak in two eyes when I can, that pesky knife gets in the way from time to time.
Do what you will, master Ferguson. These comics are, as the kids say these days, ‘the bomb-diggety’, pardon the vernacular.
Oh everything about this from the watermarked “krak” to the motion blur is gorgeous. Awesome.
Thanks Sojourner! I really love pushing myself artistically with Motokool, especially with effects, I really hope that I can only get better from here on 🙂
Yay update! And I like it. Your art is pretty awesome.

Looks like Templeton is getting SERVED!!
But I doubt it will be over that easily…
It would be unlike Templeton if a simple tree smash were to make him lie down 😉
0_0 violence never looked so artistic…I would also like to point out that if he was MY Grandad, I would never EVER misbehave…
I based him off of my grandfather, who even in his 80’s, is one of the toughest scotsman I know, I think last year he picked up a washing machine my himself haha
I have just started reading this comic but i love it already, i can’t wait to see what happens next!
Also your art style is amazing, one of the best i have seen in a web comic!
Thanks Blackberry, I’m really pleased you like everything so far, I hope artistically things get better around here too, the next few updates are going to be really fun (and challenging!) 🙂
is it just me, or is Templeton’s sword dangerously close to grandpa’s neck?? :0
love your work, and that you reply to comments! really shows how much you care for your comics and your readers.
It really means a lot to hear that, thanks bitolala! Honestly, if someone can take the time to read Motokool, I’m really lucky to even have that, and I’m happy I can write back to everyone.

I have to say, that is by FAR the MOST BADASS GRANDFATHER EVER. I wish treefists could be accomplished by myself. =[
I’ve tried, but the best I can do is twig fists (and I just look silly when that happens)
Oh my, the violence, it’s enough to make a zebra brake out in hives! But aside from zebras It looks like Templeton is going to cut Granda rather painfully on the shoulder…
Hive infested zebras ARE THE WORST! And Templeton is sneaky with that sword, but I’d say treefists are sneakier for now 😉
You’ve never seen boil covered lions then my friend, it makes you wish you were never thought of..I want Templeton to win..his optimistic villainy is so addicting.. Woo go sneaky sword!
Nothing says “I’m badass” like slapping someone with a tree.
Does anyone else find it ironic that grandda is essentially trying to kill Templeton the same way he did the first time, just in a way that’s a tad less refined?
(Get it? Paper – trees – refined?
*crickets*
Anyone?)
Is he…duel-wielding trees?!?
YES 😀
