Biting only works if you go for something vital, and obviously chase had no intention to cause serious harm. Ideally after getting their guard down you’d strike hard and fast somewhere soft. Unfortunately, Mr Mills hasn’t had any soft spots in a long time. All of them have been covered by mass amounts of brawn, layers of leathery skin, and a thick mesh of hair who’s consistency resembles steel wool. Poor chase didn’t stand a chance.

lol, my brother(older brother) used to fight me like this, hed get in my face and then drop to the floor and curl into a ball, and when id decide im walking away from this shit, hed bite my ankle

Dont get me wrong, I love this comic and all of your other ones. SC is one of my faves. Your art style is just so unique. But this comic seems to be lacking some action. The characters just stand around in the same positions with the same faces, and the only jokes are the characters describing implied action. All Im saying is if you had actually depicted Chase and Taryn’s dad fighting, instead of having a talking head just describe it, I think it would have made for a much more hilarious comic. Like I said, love your stuff, just a little friendly criticism. And leg hair being pulled is the WORST. My little siblings found this out at an early age. D:

I don’t get why everyone’s making a big deal of it… it doesn’t hurt… i pulled some hair out trying to get it to… but no dice. I agree with ~snrk~ future grandfather here. I could beat Chase in a fight with a checker board.

I’m with Jety Lefr on this one. Didn’t hurt me either. Just sorta’ pinched a bit. And as for the checker board, well I think you’d best remember what happened to all those koalas. Checker board or no, underestimate him and you could end up as interior decorations.

I love the slight changes to Mr. Mills, especially his eyes. With even just the slight change of showing his eyes and the age lines around them, you’ve brought out a lot more emotion in his face, especially given how little you can show because of the beard (which must remain as steadfast as the mountains).
