oh chase… still so oblivious as a child I love you… SCOTT! You make things so so amazing I love you too. Monty gets all the love in this for suggesting condoms to a small boy. 😀
haha, I’m happy you like everything, and I now writing this I wonder what Monty and Chase talk about since their friendship is about 20 years old.

I love how Chase is so oblivious, especially as a kid. It’s actually kind of adorable.
I also have to add that I like the shading in this comic. It looks real good. 🙂
Thanks! I’m spending a little more time on the shading, I’m happy people are noticing, I can only hope that I can get better yet 🙂 And I think we’ll only see a semi self aware Chase seasonally 😉
So when I finally get around to having children, I can only hope that my son is at least half as epic as Chase is. 🙂

I was struggling with a title for this post, so I just went with a snippet from that famous poem, I think the verse is “what little boys are made of, snips of snails and puppy dog tails” (it’s really creepy and I think over a 100 years old, if some old man said that to me, I’d run)

This story line has been really good. Emotion and comedy blending together so well, you’re writing has become really solid. There’s just so much that’s funny about these, while still being touching.
I love that we only ever hear Monty say “SKEE!” but we have no idea whether or not Chase can understand him. He’s clearly having a conversation with Monty, so the assumption is that he can, but knowing Chase, (and judging by the weird things that Monty “says”) it’s entirely possible that he’s actually just having a conversation with himself and projecting dialog for Monty from the depths of his own sad little brain.
The great thing about that is Monty is usually right (obliquely, sometimes), so if his dialog is indeed coming from Chase, then at best Monty has become a sounding board for Chase’s crazy thought process and at worst, a de facto therapist. Either way, he’s a friend which is something that Chase clearly needs.
Skee is now a common word in my every day vocabulary. <3

so we somewat findout where montys facinations with condoms comes from, i wonder if the reason monty plays with them in the future so often is that he doesnt know how they are used or he does and just thinks its funny, to screw with people

Sorry, I’m posting this now to say that there was yet another flare up of malware, I don’t see it now currently, but the last thing I can do is tear my sites down entirely and reupload everything manually. This will take a huge amount of time, but I hope it will be worth it in the (Godaddy was no help).
