Sorry for the lateness on today’s post, I am TERRIBLE at drawing anything remotely town building-ish. This is actually a building from the town I live in

That building doesn’t seem to be of any lesser quality than what you normally draw, so either you tried really hard, or you have no reason to worry. Either way, kudos!

Haha Jack In Your Box, at first I thought it said Jack in the Box, in hindsight that is surprisingly awkward.

Zoe is so freaking pretty – it just boggles my mind how fantastically she and the other characters have evolved in appearance since you first started drawing them. And I like the building a lot, actually – great perspective work! (And “Jack in Your Box” = full of win.)
Also, “I demand you show me these public markets” made me laugh. I love how Nergil constantly vacillates back and forth between sounding delightfully old-fashioned and absurdly modern (i.e. “I love me some pimp whip”). It’s such a perfect comedic device, and it fits perfectly with the character, considering his age – whenever he whips out a glaringly modern word or turn of phrase, he really tends to perfectly emulate the way an older person sounds when they awkwardly attempt to be “hip.”

I have to ask. When you say it’s a building from your hometown, do you mean just the building, or is the actual shop from there too? Also, if the latter is the case, do they consider you a regular or are you on a first name basis? Aside from that, this is definately my favorite comic around and I look forward to each update with unbridled glee

BTW That “building-ish” image was drawn because the girls mom selled snow shovels at a local hardware store. And they had a terrible winter thus had to sell alot of shovels.
