A carnival of high risk is the best kind of carnival.
Yeah. They had to die sometime, so why not now?
oh goodness gracious. shadow man, you’re a piece of work.
also, this is the best part of sunday nights/monday mornings…cause otherwise it sucks. yay!
Clearly, the pussycock doesn’t understand the finer details of running a carnival.
Neither do I, because orphan murder doesn’t seem like a necessary step towards successful carnival operation, but what do I know?
Man, all the transgressions my pussycat reminds me of are when I don’t feed her immediately upon waking. Apparently the pussycocks are a more socially conscious race.
I’m quite certain there’s a larger connection between Shadow guy and Chase other than Monty…evil self from the future? Chases alter ego who escaped his mind and took on a physical form? only time will tell… unless Scotticuss tells us…
Also when was the last time Snarky was in a comic? I miss that cute but immensely creepy-er than monty monster
So what’s he like when he goes on a homicidal rampage?? lol
Aww… poor kitty-bird and Montaque and all the other poor…ehh whatever they are classified as.
P.S. I would like to have kitty-bird
I think someone has some repressed childhood issues… not pointing any fingers but I think it’s a tad bit obvious. WHERE DID HE TOUCH YOU PUSSYCOCK!? WHERE DID HE TOUCH YOU!? *ahem* Great facial expressions with shadow guy Scott!
look at this. http://www.cracked.com/photoplasty_183_how-rich-secretly-amuse-themselves_p16/#2
You, miss, have just made me have a dream and nearly spit out my 2 am cup of coffee
Ah, there’s nothing like a comic about murdering orphans to bring cheer to a guy on his birthday. Thanks Scott!
I have ot show that Shadow Guy has at least some quasi evil side, AND happy b-day
Because the wedding adventure wasn’t enough?
No ruining a wedding is just a dick move, killing orphans is true evil. That and using the last of the milk and not telling anyone till tomorrow at breakfast time.
Killing orphans is true evil? Oh… oops.
thanks Scott…so I have a question then. Is the shadow guy like the diet coke of evil? Is that what you were trying to get across?
I love shadow guy but dosnt he have any not animal friends?
That implies that some of them are his friends.
Shadow guy seems like the sort of evil that only does evil things when there’s nothing good on TV.
I must profess that seeing Shadow guy in a more mundane setting is bringing up some questions for me. Namely “WTF is he?”
I suppose we can now assume that monty is some manner of genetic experiment similar to the pussycock, but is shadow guy really made out of shadows? He feels pain, so there must be some manner of nerve receptors in there. His solidity is ambiguous at best, and quite possibly inconsistent. Whatever he’s made of seems to be both pliable and durable, while having strong regenerative capabilities.
I don’t think anything could have birthed him. Is he a timeless and supernatural being? Did he come to be through unique circumstances that surpass the rules that typically govern our existence? Is he a creation similar to Monty and the gang (and if so, who created him?)?
He seems to have a moral compass, but it’s skewed and abnormal. Has he not been subjected to our societal influence? Maybe he has been, but such was just not his upbringing. Many of his attitudes would make sense if he was from another time period. Similar to elderly people who can’t quite keep up with how times and attitudes are changing. Perhaps, once again, he is timeless and unchanging. His personality is as it was when he came to be, and has never made sense to anyone else.
Motherfuck. I just want to dissect him. Why does no one in this comic carry a scalpel?
Because unlike you they aren’t tl;dr posters and they’re not FUCK ALL CREEPY AS HELL.
Lol. This is what makes me creepy now. Good to know. In the future, no matter how outlandish the villain’s existence might be, dissection isn’t kosher.
Next time we discover an ageless being, I’ll be sure to tell the guys to leave it alone. No one wants the secrets to immortality found that way;)
He is pretty old. Remember those flashbacks to Monty’s pre-Chase life? One o’ them was at least back in the 20s or so, IIRC. Maybe there was one in the 1870′s as well, I forget.
Indeed. The question is how old. Certainly it’s unusual that he has none of the effects of aging with even just the time we’ve seen pass for him.
Also, in the twenties they shouldn’t have had the tech to biologically engineer a shadow guy, so we can rule that out I suppose.
I’d volunteer a scalpel, but it turns into a spoon every time I try to turn it into a cyber scalpel for this very purpose.
Ah yes, the utility uncertainty principle. Been making headway with that, but it’s slow going. The other day I got a double sided spork. That’s… something, right?
That was a shit load of words…. and OBVIOUSLY he’s Chase’s Father.
Awesome. I approve.
I don’t think that a scalped would be very effective, since he seems to be selectively amorphous.
For example: http://nerf-this.com/who-looks-stupid/
But interesting theories. I await with eager anticipation exactly what Scotticus decides/has decided he is.
Also, name please? While “Shadow guy” gets the point across, a name would be nice.
Why the hell does this guy run something meant to amuse the masses anyways?? He spends so much time wreaking hell on earth (or pissing in gas tanks one of the two) so why does he even bother at this point??
Have you been to a carnival before? If there’s one play for evil incarnate to call home, it’s there.
Er, “place”. Not “play”.
Damn… Now that people are comparing Shadow Guy to Chase, it’s really bugging me. Now I really wanna know what the hell he is. Reveal your secrets, Scotticus! >.<
Orphans? All those potential superheroes gone. What a shame.
Aw comon orphans are more trouble than their worth anyway, all bright eyed and full of hopes and dreams *shudder*
The Pussycock’s tail changed shape….
