Sorry this post is Monday night instead of morning. I’m also sorry to everyone that my personal emergency, mental anxieties, and a few other things got in the way of me posting content I’m really trying to get things back on track with updates, and there will be another post or two this week.

Haha, honestly, I love the comic, been reading it for years now. I mean, of course I hope that the updates come in a more scheduled fashion, but I enjoy the surprise. It’s like a little present every once in a while that gets to come my way.

Anywho, just had to say how much I enjoy the comic, and that great art takes time. Keep on keepin on!

I like how that piece of shit is basically fishing for sympathy points. I don’t know you, I don’t care about you and if you died, I’d move on to another web comic, most likely one that updates on a REGULAR FUCKING BASIS.

Anxiety is only as bad as you let it get, I had terrible anxiety when I was in high school and would wake up, screaming my lungs out in the middle of the night and flip my shit. That didn’t stop me from doing the things I was supposed to do.

      Ha ha, you know what, go suck a dick. The reality is, I had terrible anxiety in high school, to the point I was considering medication just so I could get some sleep. A lot of times I’d wake up in the middle of the night, screaming, with this unreasonable fear of something I didn’t understand, all I knew was that I had to get out of that particular room. It was like liquid fear was injected into my brain.
      
      My family didn’t believe me at first until one night I burst out of my room freaking out, ran into the family room and jumped down an entire set of stairs going into the kitchen, slamming into the wall downstairs.
      
      At the time, I dealt with it because I had to, I had a full time job, as well as school I had to worry about; even on operating on a few hours of sleep a night, sometimes after an attack I didn’t sleep for a few days. You do these things because you have to, not because you want to.

        Besides that point, entitlement is a dream. No one is entitled to ANYTHING. We all have a few rights (life liberty and the pursuit of happiness to name a few), but outside of those basic rights it’s selfish to believe that this world owes us anything. We earn what we have, and sometimes get lucky with a gift or two.         I’ve loved this comic since it started- this and XKCD got me into comics that I check every single day. (my holy trinity is Nerf-This, XKCD, and Questionable Content). I get upset too when they’re not updated, not towards the authors, but because I miss the story. They don’t owe anyone shit unless someone spent money on something (which in the books case yes, but it’s already been resolved with a timeline on it)
        
        Authors are people too and as humans we all go through very different experiences.
        
        Back to the racism thing, man it’s 2014- I know you can have a huge dick and wave it around online, if that’s how you get your rocks off go do it somewhere else. No one wants to hear some 14 year old kid using racial slurs and acting like a jerk while he’s yelling at his mom for more meatloaf.

    I know that anxiety is terrible and it almost always stems from real world issues. In my case they resulted from a hard childhood, an abusive step father and struggling to leave the house so I didn’t have to deal with shit anymore.

        You are absolutely right about the book, it’s not right, and I wasn’t prepared for the task. Luckily the book is coming out within the month, and it will be mailed out to their rightful owners (plus a few more things as a way to apologize for the wait). I wouldn’t be pleased wither if the shoe was on the other foot (or whatever that saying is). I’ve never banned anyone on my site, I welcome all critism, good or bad, and I’m happy I was able to comment back to you.

Good to have you back, Scott, ol’ bean! I’ve been a fan of this comic for a while, so it’s nice to see it updating again. Even so, do your thing first. After all, despite all the delays and hiatuses, you still have a pretty good fan base (you know, the ones of us who aren’t numpties).

Moves can be very unsettling. Being a military brat then serving myself, I have definitely done my share of it. On the upside, it is a great way to inventory your stuff…..
Take care of that anxiety! I deal with it and know what a monster it can be at times! Moving also strengthens it’s hold. Take heart in knowing your work brings joy to many people! I have read all of “Nerf This”, “Dapper Finery”, “Dangerously Scene” and “Motokool”! Your sense of humor is great! Again, many thanks for your comics!

As a person with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I know how anxiety can be a shitty ass experience. You don’t owe us anything… because these are the top ten reasons, why.

1. You tell a story so fluidly and awesome I’m always on my feet therefore I am never bored each new strip.
2. The characters are so witty and fresh. That if you ever kill them I will cry like a little girl.
3. the jokes are so funny and awkward. It is as if you sir are the physical embodiment of comedy.
4. you don’t use swear words which to me is an amazing feet.
5. the art gets better and better to the point that it should be in the met.
6. The shirt designs are awesome.
7. You made Killer Koalas.
8. You made Mr. Mills.
9. You made Monty.
10. and the never ending possibility of a crossover between Scout crossing and Nerf-This.

Saw the Destined Legends booth at Phoenix Comic-Con. A few people I went with are now interested in trying the game since they saw it there, so I’ll have a chance to crack open the limited release one I bought a while back, so the game is picking up some steam. It’ll be interesting to see what the 3rd player expansion is like when they get that released.

I read 7 different webcomics, I play Minecraft, I carve through video games new and old (Currently trying to beat Earthbound for SNES), in short, I have plenty to keep me occupied until updates come out, as it always happens when your updates get a little slow, so no worries, dood. Yer comic is worth waiting for, what with the quotable dialogue, abstract plot, insane characters and good art.
I’ve never read Motokool or Scout Crossing so if I ever find myself too bored to do anything, maybe I’ll give those a try, kekekek. So don’t worry *TOO* much. (b-.-)b
