Chapter: Comic

Thought I’d try some new hair stuffs. And hooray for insanity (there is logic to this story line, horrible, guilt ridden logic).

  If Monty was part of Nergil’s Circus, is there a female Nergil’s Circus, where Snarky hails from? Maybe Nergil’s long lost love (names escape me, Marian?) also became a Shadow and has had the sameness happen to her?

    Perhaps that is why Snarky is gone. With the explanation of Monty’s background, Snarky doesn’t make much sense. Monty was the result of Nergil’s magic and intention to make a circus of monsters, it’s no longer normal.
    But of course, the monsters ARE the reason Taryn and Chase met and the comic revolves around what the couple go through…

      I asked Scott about this in a chatroom when he was doing the art, he says Taryn’s mom has her (which is true, that was mentioned a while back), but Destiny was re-introduced, and Snarky wasn’t with her.

To be honest, I gotta say -not really digging where you’re going with the girls’ designs. It’s feels so unproportional with the huge heads and small hands, but it’s mostly Taryn.
Her face just feels cartoony and the hairstyle belongs more on someone like Penny from Scout Crossing.

But hey, if you only stayed with one art style and didn’t experiment you wouldn’t be nearly as good as you are now! You have come so far from the beginning of NerfThis.

I like Steph’s look, but I think that Zoe looked better with longer hair. I generally prefer Taryn and Zoe’s looks during the beach sequence, with softer features. Now they seem kind of… pointy.

I can’t even read this comic anymore, considering I got completely screwed by Scott. Nothing like giving money and support to something you really enjoy only to be ignored and dismissed. WHERE’S THE BOOK I PAID FOR?!?! Or my money back. Or a response any time in the past TWO YEARS?! Seriously, this is really messed up and makes the creator of this look like an ass.
