don’t know about you guy’s but we lost a good comic man who had too much…”Problems” in both hands,mind and spirit. And had a nervous breakdown and quit…that man was Thunt(goblins). I loved his book been a faithful reader for 8 years. What i’m saying is that artists need time to think and need our love and respect(and bean bag BURRITO’S!!) they get paid but at a minimum fairness and go through alot in their life. Most artists looooOOOve there job, and some love it enough to actually work through a bad day for their scheduled deadlines. zombie roomie,grrlpower,spinnerette,drowtales, and least but not least; MY MAN “ARG”(his mind is clear & full of awesome shit..& dick jokes) to name a few because they got the time and the company to boot also their are some that are super funded and some who free lance and try to bring a smile (don’t know bout arg). Mind you Scotti here probably funded too but he has…”Expenses”…and more worries to boot like a fat-cat sausaging his way through door. So if your gonna go do your thing like twit,face,etc,(FUK whatever) social site there on. give them encouragement, give them love, and fund that shit. Artists are our future happiness after a long day of scooping the shit happening in your lives and need that Laugh,drama,suspense,and REARING!! a good time after a looooong day. Did you see the blog post Thunt put out there? If you have great! You can stop reading or skip down a bit. If not…He is coming back. It’s going to be slow, but he clearly wants to be able to continue with Goblins. After not seeing an update and getting blog post only occasionally I probably read Goblins a dozen times, and, after reading his most recent blog post I realize how lucky we are that it wasn’t worse. Lots of web cartoonist have issues, so does everyone else. The difference is that while the majority of people don’t have anyone looking at them, web cartoonist are front and center to a myriad of fans. They put their heart and soul into their work and people like Jeremy Kuehnau go and tear into them as though they aren’t hurt by everything that is said about them. Jeph Jacques (Questionable Content) broke down so hard he stabbed his hand and suffered nerve damage. He was out of commission for a couple weeks. Just because Scott doesn’t tell us whats troubling him doesn’t mean “Scott has nothing BUT issues” (again Jeremy Kuehnau). It means he doesn’t want people nosing around his personal life. He does not answer to any of us, if anything we answer to him to be supportive and respectful of his personal life because he is the one producing this amazing comic. We produce nothing for him.

Scott you keep on doing your thing. I’ve moved eleven times in the past twenty years and am going to do it again in the coming months, it’s hard and anyone who says otherwise hasn’t really had to move. We’re all here for you Scott, we love you and want the best for you.

  It’s been over 2 years, and it is too late. I, like many others, were dumb enough to keep buying the excuses and having faith that he’d come through. He stopped answering book questions via and email. I even talked to people at IndieGogo where he held his book sale. They terminated his account because of this bullshit, but can’t do anything to get people their money back.
  
  At one point I posted here asking for people who were still owed books or merch to email me. I got over a dozen emails. One of them was from a 15 year old kid who saved her money to support this douche-cookie and buy his book, then got in trouble with her parents for getting ripped off. A KID.

I miss the updates, but only because the comic was so great. Good story line, good artwork. I was constantly amazed by the quality put into each episode. As much as I’d like to chain the poor guy to his desk and make him pump out comics for my own entertainment, the creative process doesn’t work that way. I hope he does write again soon. And if he never does, that’s OK too. He entertains us at his pleasure. It’s not his purpose in life to entertain us. And people get to quit jobs when they are tired of them.
The story arc did come to a natural (and hilarious) conclusion. I”ll hope for more, but am content with having received this gift.
