Sorry about the walls of text in this post, I needed to get a lot of information across, but I hope it still ends up being funny (please don’t kill me!)

  Thanks Average Whenever I think of comics that have a good handle on the “less is more” lettering, I keep thinking of Sinfest and Girls with Slingshots

I read all of your comics and I have to say that the style along with your way of story telling really makes me wish that I could just buy a giant graphic novel that tells this story. I mean, it’s nice getting to read a new page everyday, but I really hope that one day you can write a comic book or something with this great style of art, witty humor, and great transition from serious to funny.

You write amazing comics! I am a HUGE fan of Nerf-This and Scout! I've turned my friends to it and they love it as well.

Wow. I grew up like that (with my wonderful mum divorced from my.. uh.. dad. No, he’s great… rly…) and this strip really got me — serious and humorous at the same time.

  Has it ever come up if Chase has any siblings? Apparently the parents are divorced, but besides that, I’d imagine he started showing signs of his “specialness” early and they decided to stop with one kid…
  Before this I’d always assumed Chase was the bastard child of a wayward carebear and some sort of sneaky unextinctable dinosaur.

Wow, a surprisingly deepressing origin story to our beloved Chase. Isn’t it strange how random humour and dark twists make the best stories?

Wait a moment in one of the earlier strips chase was seen as chauvanistic because his dad was bringing home other Mom and thats how he learned to treat women was there a joint custody deal going on and the chase from this time is much more sensitive and nice than that original character.
