This coffee shop looks a bit familiar, and yes, I would be a TERRIBLE OLD MAN if I didn’t have Zoey in this story
AND THEN THE SCENE BEAN IMPLODED
Can someone not keep their psychic- I mean crazy obsessed best friend in check?
Wan? Or was? Heh
Love Zoey’s eyes in the second panel! HAHA
I was a bit of a mess, I spent the whole day doing Pin Up Paintings for a client, then the whole night on comics, I was able to almost see through time haha
No worries, no worries…it’s just fun to tease sometimes It’s all in good nature
I’ll blame my misspellings on an upcoming learning disability (it better come soon!)
I would horrible spelling what, exactly?
Heh…probably something along the lines of ‘wan’ in the second panel
Scott, we love you!!
First panel, I mean..
Haha, I’m sorry, I truly am. That one slipped by me, horribly slipped
I was attacked my anti-spelling monsters yesterday, sorry
Oh good gravy, that last panel made me giggle like twelve school girls at once.
Then I am glad I could ensue such shenanigans!
OMGZORZ IT’S THE SCENE BEAN WOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It IS the scene bean
I appreciate you taking my overly ridiculous comment entirely in stride.
NIce Scout crossing reference haha.
Zoey looks an awful lot like liz btw
Many of my characters have the same style guide, or rather, The style of Nerf This will slowly adapt to Scout in one way or another.
you remember the arc where tony proposed to Steph
y’know i remember when to art in this comic was slightly more….
Looking back at the art that was on here a year ago, it terrifies me
that “eeeeeeeeeeeeee” momentarily distracted everyone and the pizzys ears are broken….
Haha, I wouldn’t look into it too much, I wouldn’t spoil the grand battle of Boyd Pizzly like that
So, Nerf This and Scout Crossing are in the same city, via the Scene Bean (assuming it isn’t a franchise). Also, Scout’s brother was named Chase as well (but is obviously a different person – black hair and surname of Crossing instead of Connors – unless this is all a ploy to fool the koalas or the six (or are they one and the same?)). And Taryn’s dad looks suspiciously like the grandfather from Motokool – brothers or cousins maybe? Not to mention the similarities between Monty and the Motokool monsters. For that matter, Taryn also owns one of them – can’t be a coincidence that the owner of one of the monsters has a dad who looks like the grandpa and also seems to know more than he lets on about the little critters. And in Scout Crossing there was a dude who spoke in black bubbles, like Monty’s original owner.
I think we have the makings here of a Grand Theory of Everything.
There is a theory, and I haven’t told anyone yet about it, haha, but Scout and Nerf take place in the same town, but Scout’s brother was named Chance, not Chase.
These are things that will eventually tie within each other at odd times, on rare occurrences
I saw the Scene Bean and was all OH SHI-
Dude, I love how yes, they are three different comics, but since they are all done by you, even if the ACTUAL stories aren’t there yet, they all tie together some how. I applaud you sir. You are rapidly becoming one of my favorite Comic artists.
Thanks Austin! It’s means tons to hear that, I hope that I can only get better (or else… *waves my fist at myself*)
The coffee shop in scout was the indie bean, but i definitely saw the connections between the two. At first i thought Taryn was Lizzy from Scout Crossing. It would be cool to see some sort of crossover, like seeing Monty hidden in a Scout Crossing panel or Tony in the background, sorta like a game.
Okay, I got Chance’s name wrong. But I’m definitely right about the Scene Bean. The Indie Bean was the first one they went to, the one that Penny owns. But the one they’re in now, fighting the Pizzly, is a different one that is named “Scene Bean”.
ahh good call i thought you were talking about the first coffee shop, i forgot the fight was also in a coffee shop, was actually rereading scout crossing when your comment was emailed to me.
You mean females really do that high pitched EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE thing?
Unfortunately yes, at least some do that. I have had the misfortune of witnessing it.
Its usually for defensive purposes.
Or when we want to see people’s ears bleed. <3
I die a little bit inside when I hear it D:
ahh zoeys back! ^_^ and whoa the scene bean is the place to be i guess
It’s totally scene I suppose And EVERYONE will be back for this story, almost everyone.
And then Penny show’s up and boots their asses outta there. Because that has GOT to be annoying.
And yeah, we need crossovers. Scout and Chase together would potentially be rather interesting. And Steph and Liz seem like they would get along….
If there really is a “Grand Theory of Everything” your comics may be even more awesome than I though.
Haha, thanks Ego
I will be doing some stuff in and out with little crossovers and whatnot, especially more since all of my comics are showing similar drawing styles.
Hahaha. Zoe’s the best.
Hey you got new speech bubbles, snazzy. ;D
Yeah, even though this style of speech bubble take a bit longer, I love the way they look
It is mighty snazzical.
I would DIE of awesome if I could even remotely look snazzical
I make the exact same face as Taryn when my friend does mortifying, shame-riddled things in public.
Your friend sounds AWESOME
ZOEY?! I’M SO HAPPY I- I… IEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very well said
LOL Scene Bean…
Wait a sec… first we see a Tony look-a-like in Scout… http://scoutcrossing.net/word/
And now this!!
Her squeal was powerful enough to break through space time into an alternate reality, aka, webcomic.
was this before or after the events in the latest scout crossing comic? or is this a different scene bean
Zoey is exactly the same as one of my old friends. It’s uncanny.
Except maybe that my friend did a lot of crack … hopefully Zoey doesn’t.
She’s going into ultrasoics! Get Away from the windows!
