Also, if I were Scott, I’d deliberately withhold the koalas out of malicious gleeful spite for those who keep demanding them. So it’s probably a good thing I’m just a dainty lil’ Shadow, all sweet and innocent-like and relegated to mere readership rather than Machiavellian backstage control.

Personally, I think there should be an auction of some sort for the character of Zoey’s eventual long term boyfriend, to be based originally on the bidder him(her?)self using a picture and a short paragraph description. I KNOW far too many people other than me would be bidding and I have no chance of winning, but dude, you’d make a FORTUNE if even 1/10 of the number of people I imagine have a PSL-based hearton for her. Everything creepy about her makes me smile.
