It would make a lot of people happy that idea but I don’t think it’s wise to do it
nerf this comics have a great drawing style and colouring, making it a daily comic would make it to become a very simple comic with not much things to show, also the story arc would be affected by this in a not good way D:
I find the comic enjoyable like it is maybe some more often updates would make it better but never like a daily comic

Hund, you are completely echoing my own fears of making Nerf This a daily strip. More or less that I would be stretched to thin and Nerf This would suffer for it I’m happy to hear that you are content with the way Nerf This is and thank you for the awesome advice.
OMG that would be cool, but i agree with Hund… More frequent but not daily… give yerself time to relax and focus instead of worrying abut a daily deadline.
Tony got married before, right? Or am I getting things mixed up? Also, I wish MY fonts were horrendously italisized…As for the daily thing, besides being a little biased about the amount of free time you have it sounds like it could get overwhelming really fast, and either the quality of the strip or the quality of you would suffer. Neither is good, I think. Maybe add an update somewhere if you’re hankering for one?
the nerf-this tony still is not married yet, chase did attempt to make a cake, but that was quite some time ago (I have to finish that arc up soon). And yor lucky about those “fonts”, sometimes italics are just one rough end of the spectrum
Wow, thanks everyone, I’m glad to see that I got some pretty cool feedback, from the people that emailed me as well. Perhaps that wouldn’t be a bad idea, maybe once a week tues or weekend update of free content (like avatars, wallpapers, and story updates). I wouldn’t want to sacrifice the quality of Nerf This, but what I can do is add a little more, and get you guys some other things as a way of saying “thanks” for reading my comic
I’ll shut up after this, I swear, but you said you were interested in doing a full page ( if I remember correctly, which I probably haven’t). So, what if you made one of your regular updates each week a full page?
don’t say silly things, you can comment here as much as you like That is a good idea though, I’ll have to brainstorm something up, I have a little more free time, so I would love to invest it into giving more back to the readers of Nerf This.
Maybe just blag more, or have the occasional saturday or sunday update when you feel you’d like to move a story line along a little quicker. Good stuff either way Scott.

That being said, I would enjoy a more Monty-heavy story arch, particularly, with Taryn’s monster Snarky. It’d be funny to see what these two would do when their owners weren’t looking… and fighting evil Koala bears…
I started reading this strip not too long ago, I went back and caught up from the beginning of course, but so far for its seems to be a high quality comic. It so far hasn’t relied on cheap gags or overused material. I just hope this quality would continue if this became a daily strip.
Thanks Kory, that does mean quite a bit to me, hopefully as the months progress there will be only improvements here, and the last thing I will let happen is letting certain important aspects become compromised
If this quality was to continue, then i would support this shift 100 percent. Some strips worry more about churning out strips than they do how good they are. Just keep in mind, quality over quantity. I’d rather a webcomic artist skip a day, and make it up later, than produce a mediocre strip.
a daily comic would definately risk the quality of the comic, but a non-continuity side mini comic using the nerf this characters would be kind of interesting. still maybe not daily even with that, but it would keep people interested. :b
I think I may be leaning towards what your saying, perhaps the best benefit for everyone would be to shoot for small gains, perhaps something on Sunday or Tuesday, like free content, avatars and wallpapers, or do a mini with Monty
Ok aside from what everyone is saying about updates. Might I add that your new art work for Tony is fantastically fantastic. And I don’t know about anyone else, but I find this new hussy that has come in to play oddly attractive. Mr. Ferguson I believe a revealing desktop background with taryn and wren in an epic fantasy style sword fight is over du.
haha, Tony did turn out pretty bad ass looking, and I will be doing some Steph & Taryn stuff down the road soon, plus more characters, like you for one (I promise I won’t make you hefty)
LOL I swear to God if I’m hefty I will do absolutely nothing about it , But hey it’s your comic you can draw me how you want. Also did you know that the price of rat poisoning has dropped du to the economy. Just thought you might like to know that.

No they haven’t gotten married yet, I was doing that arc with Chase making a wedding cake, but I’ll wrap the wedding arc up very soon.

i do want to have some odd stories on the side from time to time, especially just with Monty, maybe this is an idea for another webcomic
