So I thought I would do something special for Friday, I only started using my Wacom Table a few months ago and haven’t done much of anything with it yet besides color in my strips. So I thought that if I had to picture Taryn resembling something to real life, this might be something similar to that. Sorry if you were expecting a strip today, the story will resume on Monday with the introduction of 2 new characters. Hope everyone has an awesome weekend!

As far as the voting thing goes, last I checked accused felons are not allowed to vote. Wow, this is absolutely incredible. I always like (Though I’ve really only seen it one other time) when the artists make a “real life” rendition of their characters… hrmm, I should do this for my characters, and then pimp yo shiz for giving me the idea.
I’m not sure how often its done, but I’ve had a lot of fun doing it, can’t wait to tackle this kind of thing again
Not often at all I suspect. Like I said I’ve only seen it one other time from Lackadaisy, but all their characters are cats, so they made em look like real people.
I’m looking forward to the next time ya do this.

kinda reminds me of Rosario Dawson that might be just me but it really does and you know what i think Ms. Dawson is beautiful hence i will say the same for your artwork here kudos Scott you are an amazing artist

I really need to practice with it more, because last time I drew something completely with my tablet it came out all wonky. Your’se looks really good though!
this took me a little over 3 hours, it was much easier than you might think, about 50 layers of gaussian blurs with a ton of layer overlays such as soft light, color burn, screens.

Yeah, if I really spent the effort, I could make nice things with my tablet, or just draw my comics completely in photoshop, but as it is, I barely have half an hour straight to work on a comic after I scan it and before I post it, much less three hours. I need to work more on it though… >.>
I didn’t know that Wacom made tables. Let alone tables that color in comics.
