Not much to report today, but I want to say that my other graphic novel comic Motokool had a website design rehaul. I’m still working out the kinks like the favorites button and making a fanpage, but its getting there
I’m really having a lot of fun with that comic, playing with line work, light sources, camera angles… (squealing with glee)

Now I want to wear my cardigan and see what shenanigans ensue…I’ll probably just get called irish as usual, :-p
I honestly just bought one and its like crack for my skin, so much warmer than hoodies!
I got asked if I was a librarian in a coffee shop for having my hair up, wearing thick black glasses, and reading a book…I suspect the guy just wanted me to say “do you know the penalty for an overdue book Mr. Jones?” *takes glasses off and shakes hair out* lol
I dont think there is too much one can say in a cardigan besides “indeedy” and a brief nod
or “do you know the penalty for a late paper?” haha I could see chase doing something like that, but of course he would be meaning something completely silly, or it involves the spiderman undies.
-are you a professor?
-I’m batman.
PS: I really do love motokool and can’t wait to make silly comment on it
PPS: Do not Chase know that professor aren’t allowed to do anything to their intellectual heir (I mean students) except bore them?
PPPS: Do I really have to make the body of my message a (post) post-scriptum like above?
Actually, while frowned upon, as long as the student isn’t enrolled in the professor’s school, it’s a non-issue. Chase could just say he’s from another university.
I thought professors wore tweed jackets with leather elbow patches. Damn you, Scott, messing with my perceptions of the world!
That’s funny. I was going to say something about his plaid wool coat. The cardigan is def the better choice as it doesn’t add another 15/20 pounds to your fake professorian figure. Makes it easier to pick up 20 year old undergrads
haha, i’m not one for such naughtiness, and only the most experienced “professors” wear tweed
I’ve started reading Chase in my head as Dean Venture and I’m pretty sure it’s this particular strips fault…
anyway, awaiting hijinx now. Proceed.
Now that you say that, I can totally hear him that way.
Oh my god that is to funny. I guess that makes monty HELPER, the robot.
No.
Monty is Alan Rickman.
oh man, I LOVE Venture Brothers, haha, now I see it too! (and my mind hates it!) nice
holy cow: yesterday i spent my entire evening with a guy who was dressed exactly like chase. unfortunately his pet monster was located somewhere other than his shoulder, but the nearly identical tshirt/cardigan combo was uncanny. this just proves that your comic has clairvoyant powers. also, motokool has become absolutely gorgeous.
I assure you that while I love cardigans, the similarities between myself and Chase are few
Is that the municorn on the heading of the motokool site?
No, that’s another monster, and I’m looking forward to introducing him soon
Initial reaction: “Are you a professor” = good pick up line
Secondary reaction: Last time I tried something portrayed in comics, I was arrested.
Allison! (its been a while!), I would think, “Are you a ninja?” would be a much better pick up line. And what could you have done?!
Hm. Lets just say some people shouldn’t have Ebay accounts. Perhaps you have experienced it in your mail: http://xkcd.com/325/
