You may look at this at first glance and say to yourself, “What the &%@# just happened?” Well, this is maybe the first story I really wanted to do, and is a major basis for Nerf This. This will be not NEARLY as long as the Hunter story but will show a very good look into Monty, so please bear with me through this mess

I love drawing birds, and maybe the reason I keep choosing birds as a subject, only because it may be a comfort zone for me. I love animals too so I try to include as many as I can:)

How do you like the difference in art for Motokool? I went really texture heavy and changed the linework up a bit. I may go this route but I wish to try one more thing yet.

I really hope that’s a tufted titmouse. Why in the hell do I know what a tufted titmouse looks like?! I have no idea. I really like the coloring. It’s all mysteriousy. You’ve definitely put a focus on the little talked about yet strongly developed relationships between insects and birds (noting your previous strip). Who knew?

Hey Scott, I’m new to the comments section though I have been reading for a few months now. You have a great comic here, definitely on par with QC and the like. I almost forgot you went to daily updates and then today when I was checking my favorite comics (I read about 12 of them consistently) I was like “oh yeah there’s a new nerf this today!” keep up the good work man!
(also, the bird from today’s reminds me of the yelling bird from QC which is good for a laugh)
